Even more sporting and dynamic.
Conceived consistently as a sports machine, the K 1300 S has not only maintained, but in many areas even enhanced the qualities of its predecessor. As a result, this new high-performer combines fascinating and innovative technology of the highest calibre with outstanding all-round qualities and safety. On the road this means even greater riding precision and agility, even more dynamic power and performance, and, at the same time, the superior safety and ease of control in all situations so typical of a BMW. Like its predecessor, the K 1300 S does not make any compromises, but rather brings together even more consistently than before all the virtues of the most dynamic motorcycle in the K-Series: sporting and dynamic performance combined with superior comfort, playful and easy handling in combination with absolute riding stability, supreme top performance in conjunction with perfect everyday riding qualities, an even more slender and sporting look with optimised protection from wind and weather, plus sophisticated ergonomics.

An overview of technical highlights:
Even more dynamic performance, particularly at lower and medium engine speeds, thanks to the increase in engine capacity.
Engine output 129 kW (175 hp) at 9,250 rpm, maximum torque 140 Newton-metres (103 lb-ft) at 8,250 rpm.
I ncrease in torque by more than 10 Newton-metres (7.4 lb-ft) all the way from 2,000.8,000 rpm.
Fulfilment of the strictest environmental standards through newly harmonised Digital Motor Electronics.
Optimised cylinder charge cycle for even better performance on less fuel.
Optimised exhaust system with a new rear muffl er and electronically controlled fl ap management plus a fully controlled three-way catalytic converter.
Desmodromic operation improving the dosage of gas and engine power.
Optimised, maintenance-free shaft drive with a new, two-stage drive shaft.
Even greater riding precision combined with maximum riding stability ensured by optimised Duolever front wheel suspension with new set-up of the lower longitudinal arm.
Firmer spring/damper set-up for even better feedback.
Supreme handling provided by optimised suspension geometry, optimum mass distribution and a fully harmonised all-round concept.
Perfect balance thanks to the low centre of gravity.
Ergonomically balanced seating position for a relaxed but active style of riding.
Electronically adjustable second-generation ESA II suspension and ASC Anti-Spin Control as an option.
New, innovative generation of switches with optimised ergonomics.
High standard of active safety provided by integral ABS (semi-integral) featured as standard.
On-board network; CAN-bus technology for superior function with a smaller number of cables and low weight.
Electronic immobiliser featured as standard.
Optimised aerodynamics.
HP Gearshift Assistance for shifting up without the slightest interruption of power as special equipment.

Wide range of standard features and special equipment tailored to the K 1300 S with the usual high standard offered by BMW.

Yet, data sheet in hand, with about 25HP to 125kg in weight, a high-level chassis, and a price that stands more in line with that of the 125 than with the motion of a cylinder capacity exceeding the Dukina proves to be a product very interesting. Valid first bike to learn to drive, considering the performance is not prohibitive, but also a possible alternative to the classic maxi scooters.

Before you buy a Kawasaki dirt bike, you have to thing more, are you seriously dirt bikes rider or it’s just for fun? so I have 2 dirt bikes from Kawasaki for your choice, 2011 Kawasaki KX250F and also the older Kawasaki KLX250S, so let see together.

2011 Kawasaki KX250F is the best Kawasaki 250 dirt bike choice for “seriously dirt bike riders”, why? this bike has made for it!! comes with 249cc of engine capacity, DOCH 4 valves, single cylinder, and 5 speed transmission, KX250F is strong enough for beginner dirt bikes riders, the most important thing from Kawasaki KX250F is this bike has equipped with Showa SFF telescopic fork for best comfortable and good riding stability. For 2011 edition, Kawasaki KX250F also comes with fuel injection system and new Showa Separate Function Fork (SFF) divides spring and damping functions, you can read more about this 250 dirt bikes here 2011 Kawasaki KX250F

I love this bike, Kawasaki KLX250S is not from 100% “Kawasaki 250 dirt bikes” family, it’s dual purpose series. As you can see, Kawasaki KLX250S can ride in the city and also in the dirt area, so it’s the reason why I love the KLX250S type. Almost the same with KX250F dirt bike, Kawasaki KLX250S has comes with 250cc of engine capacity, single cylinder, DOCH, liquid-cooled but it’s has comes with 6 speed transmission. You can read it more here Kawasaki KLX250S

So which is the best for you? 2011 Kawasaki KX250F prices started at $7,299 (based from my older post), and the Kawasaki KLX250S prices around $4,000 to $5,000. Truly, from this article, I just want to remind you that you can choose the “perfect bikes” by following your needs, if you hard core or extreme dirt bike riders, Kawasaki KLX250S is not good for you, you can choose the Kawasaki KX250F for it. NT700V Honda is another type of motorcycle, and we are not very familiar with here in America. Of course, the dealer can be a light touring bike which is the sale of more than NT-ideal for weekends, comfortable, but it certainly was not raised specifically for this purpose. What we have in our hands here is a versatile bike that can serve as a great traveler, and as a recreational toy. Therefore, I said. Now, do not try too excited if you are in the ease of use, functionality and comfort, because that’s what this bike is.

But first: If you have not already noticed, this is not too sexy. His back looks just like a scooter, and the view from the side that is not flattering. Bags are built partly to blame, but also give the bike high functionality of the box. With 26.7 liters of displacement on the right side, 27.4 liters in the left side and an interesting passage through the channel connecting the two, not enough space to lock your riding jacket, got some documents, and a bag of food, too.

Once you install this beauty and begins to navigate the crowded streets of Los Angeles, I began to appreciate how clean the bags in the slim profile of the NT, the clutch and light low seat height 31.7 hidden “that wiggles and rail division in tight spaces a breeze. Even if the bike is a bit heavy to 562 pounds wet, I felt very comfortable with the slide, despite weighing only 155 pounds.

For reasons of work, and sent to the city, the bags are made, but never mind, they are not large enough to hold a helmet. For the longest journey two or more copies, a tribe that is absolutely necessary. Even then, the lack of space in the bag chair becomes a problem. However, if you pay $ 150, you can raise a number of blankets, the total capacity of 17.2 liters. The cost of 45 liters appropriate option strain Honda was in our test model is not equipped at $ 599 with all the hardware, but if you want a low price, Givi answer your call.

The liquid-cooled 680cc V-Twin that powers the NT is not a workaholic with smooth power delivery smooth and predictable. The lower end is slightly soft but still bright enough for four two-wheeled vehicles the toast of red light, the advance of the circulation, and maintain a safety cushion is an easy task. The engine begins to relive a bit when the needle on the speedometer is the mark of 3500, but the power is much stronger this bike. The gearbox in the NT is as smooth as the engine and the gear lever requires very little pressure to operate. These qualities, with the light clutch and the slim profile, making the city straddling the NT simple and fun, really.

Then we will find the way to California and began our journey of more than 250 miles from the coastal town of Cambria, I realized how well designed it was the windshield. The windshield provides excellent protection without breakfast, and three-quarters of ergonomic fairing gave me a place to put my legs. The other thing that caught my eye, and fairly quickly was the lack of the sixth movement, in my opinion, this is the bike that the only significant drawback for the Tour.

NT-cruises smoothly at 70 miles per hour, with speeds of 5000 the brand, but in turn allowed to drive a little further and the engine starts to process. At 75 miles per hour, high-frequency vibrations in the handles are remarkable. At 80 mph, the engine 5700 rpm agitation, vibrations are a little uncomfortable, and the V-Twin starts to wonder what’s sixth foul. Additional equipment may not be in Europe, where the wheel comes from necessity, but for a long time at high speed highways in the United States really is.

In other words, the NT itself was very solid and stable on the road, and the upright riding position and comfortable seats made the long journey very comfortable. Of course, standing on the pedals from time to time, the old stock is still necessary to give a break. 5.2 liter tank of the bike gave a range of 236 miles with a fuel consumption of 45.4 mpg, a figure that we will play after a long period of heavy gas calculated. More than fifty miles per gallon seems possible, if one were to treat NT user-friendly.

After hundreds of miles to watch the road, I could see the NT in some winding roads outside of Cambria, how it deals with the fun stuff. I must say I was impressed. Seventeen-inch 58.1-inch wheelbase contributed to the size of the mountain roads of my favorite part of the journey, and to be honest, I was not worried about the weight of the machine. The NT was faster in the corners and very fast for the support they have nothing to hide, low center of gravity. The driver’s seat is spacious enough to return to cg to mount a more aggressive stance and lower. This additional space would also be useful to qualify for large, armed horsemen. The bike has suspension is nothing special, but it runs way back, knocks and bumps quite well. In addition, the rear spring preload is easily adjustable, in case you need to pack some weight on the rear axle.

At the end of the day turned out to be a walk in the NT fun and easy to edit. For a driver like me who is not quite the ideal bike, who appreciate comfort and sportier not travel or tourism in the mind a little more. For runners interested in a more convenient multi-cycle, the NT offers many attractive features.

The drive shaft eliminates the need to lubricate, adjust the chain, and laboriously scraping crusty dirt rear wheel and swingarm. ¾ The group also maintains its own jeans on the way to work, and makes maintenance of the NT is an easy task. The standard center stand and Japanese reliability and low maintenance costs. All these goodies come at a price, however, you and EIA for NT $ 9999.00 to $ 10,999.00 or a model with ABS. First, the figure suggested to me a little high, but prices are up motorcycle. The weak dollar, the yen more expensive and reduce the production of motorcycles in factories around the world to create an amplified wave of cost increases.

Comparing the New Testament to the other bikes is a bit difficult to do because it really is a unique bike. It seems as good or as fast as BMW F 800 ST, but it is less expensive considering supplements that are included in the base price of NT, and better service on all wheels of the crowd. Compared to Suzuki V-Strom or Kawasaki Versys is a bit expensive, but again it is a unit of comfort, of the tree and bags. This new import Honda can occupy a niche that bikes are not ideal for conducting rational of us who are far from the idea of a touring bike + 700 pounds or a cruise, and perfect for novices or thrifty travelers looking for a useful, maintenance-free workhorse. If these drivers out of the woodwork to buy NT is the ship’s cargo remains to be seen, but I can not deny, the bike is a pleasure to drive.

They used the opportunity for the world launch of the 2012 GSX-R1000 and to provide more information on the 2012 V-Stroms
GSX-R1000

In reworking Suzuki’s race bike, engineers focused on improving cornering, braking and acceleration. The outcome is a better low- and midrange power output, a 4.4-pound weight reduction and upgraded Brembo brakes, just to name a few. A new single-muffler design, as opposed to the twin design of previous years, contributes to mass centralization. To increase the low- to midrange torque, the under-engine chamber was eliminated and pipe length optimized. The newly designed pistons, with borrowed technology from MotoGP, make them 11 percent lighter. The piston-pin bosses are narrower, and the skirts are optimized for the new shape with asymmetry between the intake and exhaust sides.
The Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (S-DMS) allows the rider to choose between three power delivery modes including A, B and C modes by pressing the buttons on the left handlebar with the thumb and index finger. For stopping power, new Brembo monobloc front brake calipers are more rigid than conventional calipers. Brand-new Bridgestone S20 tires connect the bike to the road with a refined tread pattern for better traction, feeling and acceleration. More refinements have been made that are not listed here. Check Suzuki’s website for details or visit your local dealer for an in-depth demonstration.
V-Strom 650 ABS

Suzuki set out to revamp the V-Strom to make it the “comfortable adventure tourer.” The front fender was redesigned to allow smooth airflow to the radiator; cooling efficiency is increased through the addition of wind-directing plates. With a 5.3-gallon fuel tank, it can certainly handle long hauls. The rear carrier was changed from aluminum to resin and allows easy attachment of the accessory top case. Resin has also been incorporated on the tank. Seat height has increased to 32.9 inches and has been reshaped at the rider’s thighs, improving riding comfort by providing a more relaxed knee bend.

The seat is 25 percent thicker and sports a suede finish. Fuel economy is improved by 10 percent. To enhance the stability of oil temperature, Suzuki added a liquid-cooled oil cooler. As a result of all these changes, increased torque at low-to-mid rpm range has also been achieved. The windscreen can be adjusted three ways: up 24 mm and 8 mm rearward, standard, and down by 18 mm and 18 mm forward. The V-Strom is the only model in its class to use an aluminum twin-spar frame.
V-Strom 650 ABS Adventure

This model is only available in the U.S. The upgraded version includes a touring windscreen, engine guard and aluminum side cases as standard equipment.
V-Strom 1000

The 996cc 90-degree V-twin engine provides ample low- to midrange torque. The 5.8-gallon fuel tank is half a gallon more than the 650’s. The lightweight but rigid aluminum twin-spar frame and swingarm improve handling in the tight twisties. The 1000 weighs in at 525 pounds.
V-Strom 1000 Adventure

This model is only available in the U.S. Saddlebags and top case are standard.
Boulevard C50T Classic

An 805cc, four-stroke, liquid-cooled cruiser for $7,999 is Suzuki’s attempt to penetrate the cruiser market. A touring version is available with windshield, sissy bar and bags for only $1,500 more. The cruisers are both under 650 pounds with a low seat height of 27.6 inches. For a complete look, Suzuki added studded seats, a two-tone paint job, lots of chrome and whitewall tires.
